(Jane and Kyle are sitting in Starbucks having coffee before they have to go to work).
Jane: This coffee is very good Kyle. It is always so hot.
Kyle: Yep, but the good thing is that it wakes me up!
Jane: (smiles and laughs) I’m glad we came early and actually have time to talk.
Kyle: I know we are usually always rushing out to get to work on time.
(Jane notices a TV that is on the Fox News Channel. The anchor man is talking to a guest about the new Healthcare law).
Kyle: What are you looking at?
Jane: The TV. It is on the Fox News Channel. They are talking about the new Healthcare law and how it is going to fail.
Kyle: Oh really? (he turns around to watch the TV)
Jane: Yeah. I agree with what they are saying. The new Healthcare law is definitely unconstitutional and should have never been passed.
(A customer overhears Jane and Kyle's conversation and walks up to them)
Kyle: Yes? Can I help you?
Customer: I do not appreciate you guys saying that the new Healthcare law is absurd and is going to fail.
Jane: I don't care, I am going to say what I want to say!
Customer: You can not speak out against the government and you can not say something that will offend someone! So please, just stop talking about how you hate the new Healthcare plan before you get in trouble.
(The customer walks away and out the door).
Kyle: What just happened? Why can't we express our opinion on things?
Jane: I don't know. I thought we could.
(A confused Jane and Kyle silently finish their coffee and walk out of Starbucks).
